snap logoSnap! is a social donation platform that can help large or small groups raise funds. Originally designed to help sports and school organization sell fundraising items, it can be used by any non-profit organization to raise funds. 

Snap has all the tools you need to effectively manage your fundraiser from start to finish in one location. Snap's interface is easy to use and Snap has integration with all the top social media platforms to increase your reach. You can send out donation requests via email, social media, and SMS to your potential supporters. 

Starting a fundraiser on Snap is easy; just enter key information about the fundraiser. You can add photos, videos etc to give it a personal touch. Next, you will work with a Fundraising Coach. The Fundraising Coach guides you through the kickoff process and works with you to ensure that your fundraiser is successful. 

Donors and supporters can pay with credit or debit cards. The donation is processed securely through authorize.net, an industry leader in mobile and online payment processing. Snap’s site is also SSL encrypted, and they do not store any credit card data. 

Funds are held in escrow until the fundraiser ends. At the end of the event Snap sends out a full report and check within seven business days. 

There is no upfront cost or monthly fees but Snap does charge a percentage of overall fees raised. The fee varies depending on the size and type of organization. 

Snap can help your organization start your fundraiser with and initial kickoff, which guides initial participants through the signup process and helps them enter their contacts into the system. The kickoff usually takes about 30 minutes and marks the beginning of the fundraiser.

Snap believes the best way to have a successful fundraiser is to organically grow your reach. They encourage the use of social media throughout the fundraiser and have integrated email reminders, Facebook messages and wall posts into your fundraising event.  

During Snap’s checkout process, donors receive a tax receipt and thank you letter. All donors receive recognition on your fundraiser page. 

The checkout process also tracks donations, sharing totals and at any time, administrators can generate a one-click report that includes the amount raised by each participant.
