Illinois’ Youth Energy Efficiency Ambassador program gets youth involved in promoting energy efficiency, reports Energy News Network. 

A nonprofit partnership that recently trained about two dozen Chicago youths to become energy efficiency “ambassadors” in their homes and communities is looking to expand its impact next year on the city’s South and West sides.

According to the Valdosta Daily Times, Smartsheet hosted a Hack-for-Good event that benefited several nonprofits including the Special Olympics.  

SmartSheet, platform for enterprise achievement, today held its inaugural Hack-for-Good at its ENGAGE global customer conference, featuring a group of leading nonprofit organizations focused on child welfare and enablement.

In an effort to keep the local watershed clean local tech companies have donated to the McKenzie River Trust’s annual fundraiser, reports the Register Guard.
