Orange Leap
Really knowing your constituents is what helps your nonprofit meet its goals and be successful. Using a constituent management system such as Orange Leap can help you automate some of the more time consuming tasks associated with constituent management.
Orange Leap helps you precisely define and manage your constituents. To start it defines constituents as two different types: individual or organization. From there the types are further broken down with constituents labeled as donor, volunteer, sponsor, foundation, member, alumni etc.
The platform does allow constituents to have multiple profile types simultaneously such as being a donor and volunteer. The software also lets your organization note whether a donor is a major donor, frequent donor, first time donor, etc.
Utilize Orange Leap to manage and segment your data. The relationship capabilities allow you to maintain a multitude of relationships between constituents. From simply noting household members and their head of household to connecting a constituents circle of friends. You can also use it to note an organization’s internal hierarchy.
With that information you can prepare customized reports.
Orange Leap offers your organization a way to automate tedious tasks, by setting up “business rules”
When you define your business rules that is what allows the platform to automatically classify your donors. Based on your business rules the system will prepare communications such as welcome letter, tax receipt etc.
With business rules you can simply tasks such as mass or bulk updates. For example, you can have the system automatically reassigned account managers if someone leaves your organization.
Use the platform to track your communications with your donors & volunteers. Notes can be made regarding the type of communications sent. Additionally, the donor’s history is also integrated within their record and you can annotate the type of donations they’ve given.
Orange Leap is customizable letting you change, rename and hide fields for data entry. At the individual user level you can grant specific permissions to each user.
