On the nonprofit side, the organization often doesn’t know who their donor’s employer is so they can’t pursue the matching gift from there end, but now Double the Donation is offering a way for nonprofits to use technology to get matching gifts.

The Double the Donation platform helps nonprofits get matching gift. There are two ways Double the Donation can be utilized to get matching grants. First the organization can create a matching gift page that is hosted by Double the Donation, this page integrates with the nonprofit’s giving page. Donors can use it to determine if their company has a giving program. If it does  Double the Donation can help the the donors complete the steps necessary to get the matching grant.

The other way organizations can use Double the Donation is by installing a plug-in to their existing website that allows donors to search Double the Donations database of corporations that offer matching grants.

For larger organizations Double the Donations has an API option that will provide custom integration with the nonprofits existing platforms. 

Each service comes with its own pricing. Pricing is based on services and number of donors per year. The basic plan which is just a hosted donation page is $299/year. The company does offer a 14 day free trial period.
