TCF Bank and TCF Foundation Give $3 Million to Continue Building Better Communities

TCF National Bank (TCF Bank), a subsidiary of TCF Financial Corporation (TCF) (NYSE: TCB), and TCF Foundation announced it donated nearly $3 million to 530 nonprofit organizations in 33 states during 2016. TCF team members and TCF Bank customers donated more than $1.3 million through fundraising activities and matching gifts and TCF Foundation granted nearly $1.6 million to nonprofit organizations that support community development, education, human services, and arts and culture. Business Executives Express Strong Optimism in U.S. Economy in AICPA Post-Election Survey

Business executives reported a strong surge in optimism about prospects for the U.S. economy over the coming year, according to the American Institute of CPAs’ (AICPA) fourth quarter Economic Outlook Survey, which polls chief executive officers, chief financial officers, controllers and other certified public accountants in U.S. companies who hold executive and senior management accounting roles. Blackbaud, Inc. announced a 20% increase in online giving during #GivingTuesday compared to 2015. The company, whose systems process a majority of online donations made in the United States on #GivingTuesday, processed more than $47.7 million from over 6700 organizations that received at least one online donation.
