Beyond recognizing creative and sustainable financial impact with cash prizes, the award application process also allows for collecting data about both the traditional and novel revenue generation practices that nonprofits are successfully utilizing. The data is then shared to inspire other organizations to develop their revenue generating initiatives.
“The Resourcefullness Award has once again introduced us to many creative initiatives that are making a positive impact in our communities,” said Beth Bird, director of Eide Bailly’s nonprofit practice. “It’s our hope that the awards not only provide funds to outstanding nonprofits but also inspires other nonprofits to consider creative and sustainable streams of revenue.”
To bring different perspectives, outside judges from the nonprofit community reviewed and scored the finalist applications. Learn more about them here.
