According to Business Insider, Ocean Cleanup, a nonprofit that wants to clean up the Great Pacific Garbage patch, just got a boost from Microsoft. 

Cleaning up the oceans is a huge undertaking, especially for a single nonprofit based out of the Netherlands, but having Microsoft on your side is a nice bonus.

According to Microsoft, it is releasing a new solution for nonprofits, Fundraising and Engagement for Microsoft Dynamics. 

Since 2017, Microsoft’s Tech for Social Impact initiative has been working to empower the nonprofit sector. As part of that effort two years ago, we released our Common Data Model for Nonprofits, a set of best practices represented as data entities, attributes, and relationships.
