npVault: Backup Your Data

npvaultAre you backing up your organization’s data files? Having an easily accessible reliable backup is critical in the event your organization suffers a data catastrophe. To keep your data the safest, you should store it offsite in an easily accessible location, that way the data is accessible no matter what the situation is at your office.

npVault, by Tech Impact, is part of the npCloud suite of programs and it utilizes the cloud to give your organization a reliable backup.

They offer an online, offsite backup program for data files, emails and databases. Not sure what you should backup? The staff at npVault will work with your organization to determine what data is critical to your organization. After helping you set the backup parameters, they will automate the backup process.

While the backups are automated, npVault will monitor the the backup to let you know if it isn’t successful, saving you from finding out at the worst time possible that your data doesn’t exist.

npVault has the ability to restore a single file, multiple files or even an entire server and they offer full disaster recovery services if your organization experiences a total loss of data.

If you need to have data restored you can do it with a simple phone call or even an email.

In addition to a cloud backup, npVault can offer you a local backup. It would be maintained and monitored the same as a cloud back up, but because it is stored on a local network, it is easier to access if you need to do a restore.

npVault requires a broadband internet connection. It also requires enough hard drive space to store the backup until it is sent to the offsite location.
