Review - 2 Dialog

According to the Urban Institute, the number of nonprofit organizations increased by 25% between 2001 and 2011. While there are more organizations than ever fighting for social equality, it also means that there is less money to go around. Thankfully there are companies like 2Dialog who are attempting to make the process a bit easier for nonprofits, offering them fundraising tools and analytics to help reach the donors needed to fund their organization.

Brief Overview
The idea for 2Dialog came to fruition in the early 70’s when Chairman John Walvoord, Ph.D developed the CRM platform and used it to help nonprofit organizations across the country. Thirty-five years later, 2Dialog has become everything Dr. Walvoord had envisioned; an online communication and fundraising software to help charities and nonprofits around the world.

2Dialog offers nonprofit organizations five different softwares such as DeXE- a data exchange Engine or the peer-to-peer fundraising platform called Peerpoint. 2Dialog isn’t the first technology based company to offer these powerful tools and won’t be the last. What sets 2Dialog apart from other technology driven companies is that they offer free webinars to anybody who is interested. They want nonprofits to succeed and built this toolset to make sure they do. But what’s the point of having a toolset if you don’t know how to use the tools? These webinars go in depth, teaching viewers how to best utilize the tools needed to run a successful nonprofit.

In Use
Technology is always evolving and that means your nonprofit must too. The same thing goes with other career paths such as management. In order to manage a successful nonprofit organization, managers and owners must constantly re-evaluate everything that they’ve been taught in the past, and learn new techniques and tricks of the trade to help them in the future. These webinars are meant to give nonprofit organizations the edge over their competition. Past webinars have covered topics such as boosting donor conversions and improving online fundraising. These classes are taught by experts in the field such as SVP of Strategy and Marketing at 2Dialog, Chris Goodman and Co-founder of Third Sector Labs, Brandon Fix.

Technology Employed
To access the webinars make sure that if you are a PC user you have either Windows 8, 7, Vista, XP or at the very least 2003. If you are a Mac-based user, please have Mac OS X 10.6 or a newer version. Finally for mobile attendees, please use an iPhone, iPad, Android phone or Android tablet.

Ease of Use
Signing up for the webinars are extremely easy, but do require you meet the minimum software requirements (see technology employed). Once you register, sit back and enjoy the webinar.
