Mastercard Delaying Donation Subscription Rules

According to the Nonprofit Times, Mastercard is delaying its requirement that recurring donations made via its card be labeled subscriptions.
Mastercard has backed off its September 22 deadline to classify sustainer donations made via credit card as subscriptions, which would require giving those donors a notice every month of their option to cancel.

Blancco will support the initiative with free licenses of its drive eraser software. This enables the charity to securely refurbish donated IT equipment (desktops, laptops, smart phones, and tablets) that is given to schools across Africa to improve children’s access to computer technology and digital skills training. To date, Blancco has securely erased over 2,500 donated devices in collaboration with the charity.

Kroger donates $200,000to the Atlanta Community Food Bank to help them upgrade their technology, reports PR Newswire.
The Atlanta Community Food Bank announces a $200,000 grant from Kroger stores. The grant will be used to update the nonprofit's technology with a new CRM system. The new system will help easily identify current needs and serve the Food Bank's agencies and clients more effectively.
