Rural LISC (Local Initiative Supports Corporation) helps communities get access to needed technology, reports Yellow Hammer News. 

In today’s world, particularly in the midst of the pandemic, Alabamians and people nationwide are spending hours every day online, whether they are job hunting, shopping, taking part in telehealth visits, working or helping their kids with school assignments.

According to the Nonprofit Times, TechSoup is within 20% of its September goal for raising $2 million in capital. 

TechSoup is more than 80% toward the $11.5-million goal of its growth capital campaign, with an aim to raise the remaining $2 million by the end of September.

Oregon nonprofit the Maslow Project received $10,000 in donations from local community members, reports the Mail Tribune. 

Nearly $10,000 worth of donations was delivered Wednesday morning to the front steps of the Maslow Project, including 30 boxes of school supplies.
