Sage North America Will Help Educate Attendees AFP Conference
Sage North America has announced that it will help educate attendees and promote volunteerism as part of the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ (AFP) 47th International Conference on Fundraising, being held April 11-14 at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Md. Bridget Brandt, senior marketing manager for Sage’s Nonprofit Solutions business unit, will present an education session on donor loyalty, and Sage will sponsor and participate in the AFP Foundation for Philanthropy’s 2010 Day of Service.
Sage will also host an April 12 cocktail reception at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront for its customers, AFP attendees, and members of the media, while the company’s Sage MIP Fund Accounting and Sage Fundraising software products will be exhibited in booth 731 of the conference’s trade show.
The AFP Day of Service program will be held on Saturday, April 10, prior to the start of the AFP conference. Managed by Catholic Charities and sponsored by Sage, the program will provide AFP conference attendees with hands-on opportunities to help the community. Groups of volunteers, including Sage employees, will spend the day engaged in activities to benefit multiple Baltimore area organizations, including Gallagher Services, My Sister's Place Women's Center (MSPWC), Our Daily Bread Employment Center, Sarah's House, St. Vincent's Center, and Villa Maria Residential Treatment Center.
On Monday, April 12, Brandt will present “How You Can Create Experiences That Foster True Loyalty.” The interactive session will show attendees how to identify, enhance, and improve donor loyalty through real world tips and techniques. Brandt will discuss lessons learned from several for-profit companies, including Nordstrom and Starbucks, and show attendees how developing donor relationships through great experiences can result in an enthusiastic and loyal fan base.
Brandt has developed and promoted award-winning, “outside the box” educational and marketing programs, and is experienced in the production and management of mass media, direct mail, market research, target marketing, and surveying. She is an active volunteer with Girl Scouts of Central Texas, the Christmas Bureau of Travis County (Texas), and the Dell Children’s Hospital (Austin, Texas), as well as a member of the Austin Chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA).
