Giving Declines Sharply
According to the Nonprofit Times, charitable giving is on the decline.
Giving to charity by U.S. households has been on the decline not only since the Great Recession but since the turn of the century: One out of two American households donated to charity in 2018 compared with two out of three in 2000.
