Seattle nonprofits are connecting people who are facing a housing crisis with housing via the Housing Connector, a program that uses the Zillow platform to find available housing, reports the Puget Sound Business Journal. 

For people who have been evicted, finding housing can be extremely difficult.

Among some 1,200 King County households that were evicted in 2017, only about 12% found another home to move into and most of the rest ended up on the streets or in shelters.
