Overall Charitable Giving to Nonprofits Increase 0.2%
The Blackbaud Index reports that overall charitable giving has increased by 0.2% overall and online giving is up significantly by 10.6%. This is for the most recent 3 months ending in October 2014. The change is significant for a year to year comparison, and shows more activity than in 2013.
As reported in the Charitable Giving Report, overall charitable giving grew 4.9% and online giving grew 13.5% for the full year 2013 compared to the full year 2012.
