School may be wrapping up for the year, but teachers can still plan ahead for next year's class, because First Choice Power is accepting online applications through Oct. 15 for their Classroom Energy Innovation Grants. The grants recognize teachers across Texas that integrate innovative projects aimed at energy and energy-efficiency in the classroom. "Texas Teachers serve as a catalyst for impacting the decisions of future generations," said Brian Hayduk, president of First Choice Power. "Energy-efficiency is essential for students to learn. These grants enable teachers to come up with creative ways to showcase how being friendly to the environment is fun."
