After all the holiday celebrations are over and the New Year has begun; nonprofit organizations turn their attention to tax season. Greatland has developed an online wage reporting engine called speedEfiler.com.

This program allows any size nonprofit organization to complete W-2’s & 1099 online easily and efficiently. The user can electronically file forms and print paper copies to mail directly to recipients.

In Use
The SpeedEfiler.com dashboard is where all information and forms are centrally located. From the dashboard you can view unsubmitted and submitted forms. You can also create new forms and view all forms currently in your Cart. There are many forms available including W-2, 1099-MISC, 1099 DIV, forms 940, 941 and 944 to name a few.

Technology employed
There is no additional software or hardware needed; everything is done directly on the website. Data can be imported from QuickBooks and other accounting software that uses CSV format. An app for iPhones is also available.

Ease of use, configuration, and deployment
SpeedEfiler.com is easy to use and to deploy. After creating an account the user has the option of manually entering data into the forms or importing the data from accounting or payroll software. Once the services you want are selected and purchased you can immediately start using the program.

My Opinion
SpeedEfiler.com is very easy to use and is designed to allow you to quickly import or input data into the different tax forms. This software makes it easy and efficient for all types of nonprofit organizations to handle tax forms. The interface made it easy to navigate throughout the system. I was impressed with all of the innovative features and tools.
